Malachi Acres is a beautiful riding academy and boarding stables located in Parkland, Florida.

Malachi Acres teaches horseback riding and offers horse stables. They teach all levels of riding instruction. They have professional horse riding courses and take excellent care of the animals. The horses will get loving care for all breeds of pleasure and show horses.

The main goal for equestrians of all ages is to be proficient in safe riding and horsemanship skills whether they desire recreational riding, horse ownership or to be successful in the show ring.

 Acres has been owned and operated by Steve and Donice Muccio since 1999. The family’s dream was to open a professional riding academy and boarding stable that would provide a safe, wholesome, comfortable environment for both learning and horse ownership. They turned their dream into a reality when they purchased the property in Country Acres, a rural neighborhood in Parkland, Florida.Owner and instructor Donice Muccio has taught riding lessons since 1993 and has cared for horses since 1988. 

Her combined love of children and horses, years of equestrian experience and a BS degree in Child Development/Psychology inspired the development of the Malachi Acres program. Malachi Acres Equestrian Program Provides:

They also offer a summer camp. The camp is designed to teach kids not only how to ride the horses but take care of them as well. Developing a close bond between rider and animal.

New campers will learn the fundamentals of riding and tack, grooming and more. Advanced campers will sharpen their riding skills and learn specifics within conformation/anatomy, tack function, health /nutrition as well as learning proper leg support wraps and emergency horse care.

Our air-conditioned camp room provides an area for students to partake in supervised age appropriate equestrian crafts and videos. It is a relaxing place to cool off for lunch or a break during the warm summer months. Malachi Acres encourages mostly hands on learning and instruction since vacation is supposed to be just that… a well deserved break from the classroom setting.

Boarding includes but not limited to the following services and amenities:

  • Individual turnout paddocks with 4 board fencing
  • Daily turnout, except Sundays and when weather prohibits
